I've been planning to post my hmmm essay??? about my cousin for quite some time but i just haven't don it. so here it goes..

Mike..was a good kid, an enthusiastic student and a terrific artist. He’s already gone now. I still can’t accept the fact that he is.. Before I saw his body in the casket, it still didn’t sink in but when I saw him, bang! It suddenly hit me that we already lost him. I needed to cry so I did when I already saw the reality of his passing away. I still don’t want to let reality get to me. I’m still hoping to see my cousin around campus. It would have been the first time that we studied in the same school. I was really excited to see him. I was happy for him because he really liked what he was doing, I truly was! I was also so proud of his work!
I really don’t know what I feel.. I don’t know if I’m happy coz all your troubles, all the pain you felt is now gone. Did you see your mom, dad and brothers? They’re really sad… watch over them ha. I’ll try my best to be there for them… our whole family is grieving for you, all of us miss you.. I told your FA friends about what happened, I also told the DLSZ peeps, a few of them were there the first night. I hope you knew I was there for you, because when you were alive I didn’t get to show you, I didn’t get to make you feel that you meant a whole lot to me, a whole lot! If you see me now cuz, I hope you know that, ok?
I hope you are happy where you are now, I hope you’re with lolo tatay and tita cely, like what Freddie said, they’re giving you the grand tour of heaven. I hope that you’re watching over all of us now, you had a smirk on your face while lying lifeless in your casket! You looked really happy and contented! You lived a great life. You made a whole lot of people happy. I envy your friends because they really got to know you! I envy them because got to spend a whole lot of time with you. I’m sorry because we never really got to talk. I’m sorry because I wasn’t able to help you when you were down. I’m sorry because you had to go through so much pain

Cuz, I imagined my future with us getting closer to each other. I thought and wished that we would grow up together. You were the only cousin my age that I had here in the Philippines, you were like a little brother and a kuya to me.. haaay… watch over us ha? Take good care of yourself. Say hi to everyone up there for me, ok? I’ll always love you. The memory of you will forever be with me.
